Why does this need to exist?Could this feel easier?Who is this really for? What are we missing?Where does trust begin? What are they avoiding? What did they expect? What are they not saying?Who might this exclude? What feels unnecessary?
Mina Maazi
UX / UI & PRODUCT DESIGNER
I’m not here just to design.
I’m here to shape stories people can feel, use, and remember.
I’m Mina, an award-winning UX/UI & Product Designer and mentor, originally from Iran and now based in the United Kingdom.
I moved to the UK to study Design Management and strengthen the way I connect people, ideas, strategy and decisions to shape meaningful products.

Moving countries also meant rebuilding a life from the ground up. New systems. New behaviours. New social rules. As an introvert, finding my place in a completely new society wasn’t always easy.
But for a UX designer, it became an extraordinary exercise in observation.
I became even more fascinated by the small things — where people hesitate, the shortcuts they invent, what makes them feel welcome or excluded, and how tiny interactions can change the way an entire experience feels.
EMOTIONAL UX
I care about more than whether something is usable.
I want to understand what it leaves behind — trust, confidence, curiosity, reassurance, delight, or sometimes frustration.
HOW I THINK
But I don’t want to design just another screen.
If a hundred versions of something already exist, making the hundred-and-first slightly prettier doesn’t excite me.
Why does this product need to exist? What problem is it actually solving?Does it deserve someone’s time, attention — even a little space on their phone?
I want to create things with a reason to exist — products that solve real problems, help people, give someone access they didn’t have before, or make an everyday experience meaningfully better.
